One of the most important skills you can build is the ability to adjust your goals and behaviors to match your current circumstances.
Let’s say you’re used to working out three days per week.
However, due to “life” happening – work stress, travel, social events, illness, etc. – you aren’t able to work out three times this week.
Maybe you can only work out one time.
If you’re used to three, one workout hardly feels worth it.
But one workout is better than zero workouts.
You can apply this skill to any domain in your life.
Being able to adjust your goals and behaviors to match your current circumstances is the key to continuous progress.
