Time: a serendipitous gift, but not in the conventional sense. Time isn’t an object or an experience. It just “is.” And I’m here, in it.
The fact that I can write this means I am one of the lucky ones.
I was “given” time; born into the cosmic flow. I’ve been immersed in the “whole” – a notch on the timeline of the universe.
I am lucky.
Being born is arguably my greatest accomplishment, because it was practically inevitable that I shouldn’t have been.
Yet here I am.
Because of that, I want to live in my time in a way that makes me proud. I want to reflect on and be grateful for being given a place in it all.
To the best of my ability, I’ll strive to “be” – mindfully, bursting with gratitude.
